ABQ Int’l Balloon Fiesta - October 5-13, 2024 Wild Hearts Gallery - Bunny & Leland Bowen - Colors of Home exhibit. October 1 - 27. Public artist reception on October 5th, 1-3 pm. Placitas Artists Series - Next concert is October 2oth, 3 p.m. The Hermitage Piano Trio, playing piano trios. Tickets on sale now for the season! Come at 1:30 p.m. to hear a pre-concert talk, then view the art exhibit and artist reception at 2 p.m. Concert ticket not required for exhibit and reception. Outpost Performance Space - there are jazz performances, music classes, and a world music performance - all during October! Placitas Seller’s Market - Now Open on Second and Fourth Saturdays - 7 am - 1 pm, Homesteads Village - west of parking area. October Seller’s Market Dates are: October 12th & 26th. Featured non-profits for the October markets are Placitas Chamber of Commerce and Las Placitas Association/KUPR. Come find your next treasure! Next Art Exhibit begins on November 26th: “Native Visions” Celebrating Native American Heritage Month. 505 Spirits - Visit local (Placitan-owned) distillery with a line of, “locally inspired liquers, vermouth, brandy and premium pre-mixed cocktails.
